 This frame and fork set, typical of Brooklyn Machine Works, was born from the desire to create a bike that you can easily hop on to a bar.

 The current V4 is not just a rehash of V1, but has been updated with detailed revisions.

 Initially, Brooklyn Machine Works envisioned the Gangsta being used primarily on the streets, but it has since evolved into the current V4 model, with many users adopting it for a variety of purposes.
 Many have used GANGSTA bikes as fixed-gear track bikes, or as free-gear bikes for casual cruising. On the other hand, many GANGSTA bikes have also been used in single-speed cyclocross and tracklocross (single-speed fixed-gear bikes).
